An update - really. We left town and went to the Smokies. We're back and now want to live in the mountains.
Except for the driving part.
I'm not a fan of looking out my window to no shoulder and a ten thousand mile drop off.
Scary but pretty.
I grew up spending the summers in the NC mountains with my cousins and grandparents. It was like a different world. Always had a good time.
